outcomes in the class are positively and significantly related to their finalgrade in the course. This indicates that students’ self-beliefs and the assessment in the class werebetter calibrated in the most recent semester that the course was taught.It is not yet known how the course modification may affect students’ overall success in themajor. Future plans include analysis of the correlation between participation in the modifiedjunior-year curriculum and student persistence and graduation rate. In the meantime, additionalrevisions to the aerodynamics course will include a stronger alignment of the laboratoryexperience with the class presentation and homework assignments.
