In the course of programming a low-level embedded development platform, students gained valuable practice with bitwise operations,bit-masks, and number system conversion. The project proceeds with general explorations, investigation of variousdesign and vehicle architecture alternatives including selection of one concept based oncarefully balancing environmental, economic, and social aspects.
