However, facilitating content and study environmentsthat enable students to practice formulating the equations to represent the physics and to relearnmath techniques outside of class has increased (anecdotal observation from a sample size of 15-20 students per year for >3 years) the proficiency and success of weaker students. The prevalence of cheating has been found to be as high as 80% with a higher percentageof students who cheat on assignments [1, 2]. After assigning and grading homework in the firstyear of this Advanced Transport Phenomena course, it became apparent that most students couldonly complete homework with the solutions manual open as a guide.
