In alignment with previous research(e.g., [19, 20]), our findings also show that educators being exposed to technical skills andactivities may have motivated youth to consider future technology-oriented careers. Finally,educators and administrators viewed the open-ended approach to self-directed learning andexploration of topics beyond classroom time, which is built into the curriculum as a motivator formany youths to independently search online for solutions, advanced technical topics, andresources beyond the ones included in the curriculum.
