, specifically the SDG 5, which aims to achieve equal rights and opportunities for womenand girls.As mentioned earlier, the low representation of women in engineering remains a concern, as theirparticipation in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) hoversaround 20%. This figure is even lower in specific engineering specialties, as reported by Zapataand Truyol (2022) [6].
