then took the paper-based FE exam. Between Spring 2014 and Spring 2018, while using the CE 411 materials for theFE CBT exams we saw a sharp decline in students' performance with the lowest pass rate at65%, which was 13% lower than the national average pass rate 78%. To address this decline, westarted developing and implementing SDLMs in Fall 2018 and modified CE 411 to be ME 416FE Exam Review. Although we didn't anticipate COVID-19 impact in Fall 2019, theimplementation of SDLMs allowed students to continue learning online without meetinginstructors face-to-face. Nonetheless, we still meet students live on ZOOM for the 1st session ofthe course to give an overview of the course and answer questions from students. The objective of this study is

The NSFdefines convergence as “the merging of innovative ideas, approaches, and technologies from awide and diverse range of sectors and expertise.” While this definition is broad, it contains twoimportant words: “merging” and “diverse”. This definition has been further developed by othersin the field. Convergence is explicitly defined by Peek et al. as, An approach to knowledge production and action that involves diverse teams working together in novel ways—transcending disciplinary and organizational boundaries—to address vexing social, economic, environmental, and technical challenges in an effort to reduce
