Dr. Schonberg has 25 years teaching and research experience in the areas of shock physics, spacecraft protection, hypervelocity impact, and penetration mechanics. He received his B.S.C.E from Princeton University in 1981, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern Uni- versity in 1983 and 1986, respectively.
