the UVAteam and of the other top teams in the competition depended upon attaining a successfulcollaboration among engineering, architecture, and construction. Teams in which one orthe other disciplines elected to undertake the project alone did not fare as well. Similarly,the educational value of the experience for the students was significantly enhanced by themultidisciplinary orientation of the team. The project integrated many of the ABETrequirements of Criteria 3 and 4, demonstrating both the value of these criteria and avehicle for achieving them. Dr. Pecen is an Engineering Tech- nology Editor of American Journal of Undergraduate Research (AJUR). He has been serving as a re- viewer on the IEEE Transactions on Electronics Packaging Manufacturing since 2001. Dr. Pecen has served on ASEE Engineering Technology Division (ETD) in Annual ASEE Conferences as a reviewer, session moderator, and co-moderator since 2002. He served as a Chair-Elect on ASEE ECC Division in 2011. He also
