The success of the outreach competition has beenoverwhelming and the experience our undergraduates have received has been invaluable to their success intheir senior capstone projects as well as in their job searches. sources were part of a larger research project with the researchethics protocol approved by the Canadian university.In the survey, instructors were asked about the changes in their teaching practices and theirprofessional development activities from 2020 to 2022; their perceptions of certain teachingpractices in terms of teaching effectiveness; and their views on how to move forward. Theresponse rate of the instructor survey was 20%, based on the completed 81 responses. Of the 81instructors who completed the survey, 64% were tenure-stream faculty members, and 36% wereteaching-stream faculty members or sessional instructors.
