. As social integration can promote academic success it stands to reason that an increase inintegration will also lead to more students graduating in engineering. Therefore, it is importantto encourage students to integrate with other members of their class. Getting students involvedthrough assigning group projects, allowing students to collaborate on homework assignments,encouraging students to participate in engineering societies, clubs and social events, and so forth,can promote involvement.
