. Current US engineering education requires contributions from both science andengineering study on the one hand, and from the arts,humanities and social sciences onthe other. These parts of our “two cultures” are better received when they can be relatedone to another. The new UAS course has direct benefits to studentsexposing them to UASs where a new pool of potential undergraduate/graduate students can berecruited for research related activities in UAS. Two RIT courses (Flight Dynamics and OrbitalMechanics) are to be updated and offered as both a terminal undergraduate course and anintroductory graduate course for increasing enrollment in the ME’s aerospace undergraduateoption and newly developed Graduate Focus area. The updated courses will give higher exposureto a greater number of students for related subjects to UASs. The new Aerospace Graduate Focusarea
