conferencing.Institutional BackgroundIn 2018-19, discussions with faculty from other institutions indicated that many new graduateswere too informal during workplace communications. Feedback from multiple employers echoedthe same. Specifically, graduates were too casual during video conferences and with instantmessaging. Many new hires did not even consider these mediums as formal organizationcommunications, and that companies kept these for historical records.Initially motivated by a need to conduct briefings remotely, this study emerged as a way toimprove senior design briefings at The Citadel. Three of them were with a biology background, four were from math background,and one was in Computer Science.
