Evaluation ToolAs a first step to developing this tool, we began by creating a map from ABET EngineeringProgram criteria to our course objectives. In each course, we mapped the course objectives toeach unit of instruction and specific objectives that represent mastery within each topic, asshown in a sample in Figure 1. The goal of this map is to help students discover the connectionsbetween each topic presented in the class and see how it relates to the broader objectives ofstudying engineering.
