. StereotypeGender and racial bias which affects how we perceive and treat one another is shaped bycultural stereotypes. Despite a decline in explicit or self-reported bias, implicit or unconsciousbias remains widespread [2]. Babcock and Laschever [3] showed that even women themselveshold stereotypes about women and that women undervalue the work that they perform. A studyfound pervasive gender discrimination among science faculty where faculty were more likely tochoose a male candidate over a female candidate for a student science-laboratory position [4].In this case, both male and female scientists offered a higher salary to a male candidate thanthey did to an identical female candidate. techniques are provided in [4].Kinesthetic learning is becoming common in K-12 classrooms as evidenced by the action-basedlearning lab [12] and learning readiness physical education program [13]. However at the collegeand university level, most classes are still in the traditional lecture format and kinesthetic learningis in the form of tactile, hands-on learning through experimentation in laboratories or projectwork.
