Future work in this analysis requires similar questions to be asked offreshman students in other engineering programs. The data also show the LWTL curriculum tohave the potential to increase student retention, while simultaneously increasing the rigor of thecourse content. Longitudinal studies are needed in order to determine if the LWTL curriculumcan affect graduation rates.Future work for the curriculum itself includes a planned revision for the Fall Quarter of 2010.During this quarter an honors section of freshman engineering students will pilot the use of adifferent microcontroller in the LWTL
