took high school AP courses and college mathematicaland physical training purely online during the pandemic. Therefore, the student cohort registeredin this core course may be a good representation of post-pandemic students with various levels ofprior math/physics background. In addition, the recruited student body demonstratesdemographic diversity.The surveyed course consists of two sessions, each of which is supported by an ECE Ph.D.student serving as a teaching assistant. Each session includes a weekly recitation hour to coverkey knowledge points and homework problems, as well as three Q&A hours per week.Additionally, both the Department of ECE and the College Student Success Center offer freetutoring services to students taking this
