Atiqullah, Southern Polytechnic State University Dr. Atiqullah earned his MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1996. He has taught engineering and technology for over 22 years in 5 institutions. Dr. Atiqullah teaches mainly Engi- neering Materials and Machine Design among others. His research interests include design optimization, mechanical design, high performance computing, materials testing as well as engineering education. He regularly directs undergraduate and graduate research and publishes in national and international levels
