This particular group of graduate students are futureengineering faculty and many are currently serving as Teaching Assistants (TAs). In the TA role,some students are primary instructors of courses and others support the primary instructor. Thesestudents have little to no training on evidence-based instructional strategies. Examples include appointment as Excellent Teacher at Uppsala University, and noless than four different models for appointing Excellent Teaching Practitioners at LundUniversity. Winka in her review of processes for career recognition in teaching at SwedishUniversities in 2017 [5] concluded that 22 of 47 Higher Education Institutions had establishedsuch systems. Teaching satisfaction was operationalized by the teaching/servicesatisfaction scale reported in prior studies examining well-being among faculty [7]-[9].
