During the time the hardware components ofthe CPU are being designed, test vectors are created using the FlexARM1 instruction set with theuVison3 ARM assembler developed by Keil10. Our evaluationcomplements other studies on media-based instruction and student engagement. Cohen et al1found that students learned more from such instruction modes compared to conventional modesof instruction. Powell et al2 also explored this topic and found that such instructional modes hadthe effect of raising the GPAs of the students. Some examples include examining the gamification of engineering courses[2], in which students could earn experience points (XP) for completing various activities andwere awarded badges for completing enough activities. For an open-ended problem, multiple viable and correct solutionsexist.
