responses to the pandemic. A report prepared by theGlobal Education Innovation Initiative at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and theOrganization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) assessed the education needsand responses in 98 countries. This research provided a checklist to ensure that all hardware, software, and support systems are available and functional in place to mitigate the effect of theCOVID-19 on the education system. It introduced some education silver lining to this crisis suchas introducing new technologies, increase of students’ autonomy to manage their learning, strengthened the parents’ involvement, and strengthened public-private relationship [4].A study carried out by the education think-tank the “Times

Power distance is critical for understanding how studentslearn and is informed by the student and faculty relationship in terms of the interactions, communication patterns, and autonomy that exist in the classroom. turncomplicates our ability to assess engineering judgement as a learning outcome or designeffective pedagogies to help students learn it. To address this gap, we present a review ofrelevant research to develop a working definition and identify links between engineeringjudgment, situated cognition, and identity production as a step toward informing engineeringpedagogy. We argue that the exploration of engineering judgment should be grounded at theintersection of decision making, cognition, and identity because, as the literature suggests, engineering judgment is reflected in the decisions engineers make throughout their work, depends on cognitive processes of both individuals and groups, and is embodied in authoritativeprofessional communication tasks

The recordings of the interviewswere sent to a professional transcription service, after which each one was checked one moretime to ensure accuracy. The analysis in this study was primarily based on the followingquestions from the interview protocol: 1. What do you think your responsibility as a student is? 2. From admission to the Bridge and into different pathways, socializationactivities, mentoring, networking and leadership opportunities were integral to the program. bias. The next steps include developing asurvey to see how aware students are of their implicit biases. At York College of Pennsylvania, aworkshop is now being held once a semester for second-year engineering students on diversityand inclusion in the workplace. A deeper and long-term assessment approach would reveal if thisactivity had a substantial effect on reducing biases students have. There is still much to learn about female faculty in engineering, as there is about gender bias. Thechallenges that female faculty face in a male-dominated field is difficult, but with awareness andinclusion, it can improve the learning environment in engineering classrooms.References[1] K.
