Working with our partners, the electric power program in the department ofelectrical and computer engineering (ECE) is contributing to solutions that address the agingworkforce issue in the electric power and energy sector through modernized educationalprograms and laboratories, as well as to advances in technology development, basic and appliedresearch, and outreach.The Electric Power Systems Lab (EPSL) at the University of Pittsburgh, sponsored in-kind byEaton, is a multi-use facility that is currently used for educational activities.
