. Research results demonstrated thatthe flipped lesson improved the quality of students’ sources on mid-semester design proposal andless so on their final report. The lesson was fully implemented for fall semester 2017. Based ondata from the team’s first research project, and feedback from course faculty, the team piloted amid-semester reinforcement lesson in fall 2019. This second phase of the research project seeksto specifically reinforce students’ retention of concepts related to both the use of proper citationformatting and incorporation of more scholarly and authoritative sources in their team’s finalproject report. This paper will provide a discussion of how to use the NCEESSubject Matter Reports to evaluate engineering programs, departments, curriculums, courses, andlibrary collections. More than 40,000 engineering seniors took the FE exam in 2019. As the onlynationwide engineering exam for college seniors, the FE exam is an excellent resource forfeedback on how well students meet the outcomes prescribed by selective Accreditation Boardfor Engineering and Technology, Inc. Some studies have shown that students expressed a preference for using theirtextbooks in print format. /faculty in the use of our physicaland virtual library spaces, getting out on campus in as many ways as possible is the key toincreasing the library’s visibility and usefulness to all students and faculty. This will, in turn,create more opportunities for the NJIT community to know where to go for their informationliteracy needs.
