In response to this need, an exploratory study was conducted at asatellite campus of a large, Midwestern research-focused university. The intervention includedthe implementation of an entrepreneurially minded and communication-focused project,developed by the instructor of an upper-level undergraduate manufacturing course. This proceeding describes the motivational impact on students from participatingin a semester-long asynchronous project to create a nature-inspired and entrepreneurially mindedpodcast in an online Engineering Technology course. The inverter wasconfigured to operate off-grid and produce a 120 Volts AC output connected to the ACdisconnect box, as well as a 50 Volt DC output that charged the battery bank. Computer networksimulation is the imitation of real-world network communication scenarios using the software.The purpose of this simulation software is to reflect the quality of a given network designthrough the analysis of the performance of the simulation [7, 10]. Since computer networksimulation is a tool that is used regularly in the professional setting of network design andresearch, it would make sense that it would also be useful for educational purposes [9].
