To address the problem, we developed a novel virtual lab environmentthat sheds light on computer networking by showing students components of typical computernetworks with both hosts and backbone infrastructure using Wireshark and Mininet. inperson2. High-school teachers working in online and hybrid spaces need distributed groupwork options that will engage students in collaboration to developcooperative skills. The Engineering Group Work Spectrum was developed drawing from diverse real-world collaborations. The Spectrum offers seven tiers ofstudent interdependence from complete interdependence (a “three-legged race”) to completely independent work.
