An empathy map, a design thinking tool, was used by investigators toanalyze each interview, identifying needs and insights about students’ engagement in eachcourse. Dr. Rivera-Jim´enez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayag¨uez with a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
