slightlymore value in the synchronous class meeting (81.8% rated it extremely or very valuable) than inthe asynchronous module (72.8% extremely or very valuable). Students also made suggestionsfor improvements, such as providing more time for in-class assessment items to provide morehands-on search practice, which they found engaging, and to account for technical issues thatslowed them down, such as Internet lag and navigating multiple windows.Other lessons learned include planning for the significant time and effort it takes to redesign aworkshop for a new delivery mode, to simplify implementation wherever possible, and thatengagement needs to be much more intentional in the online environment. faculty provided some wonderful insights about how theytaught their courses and where the library could fit into that picture. However, as the authorserves as the liaison to engineering, not business, a similar study with engineering faculty at UBwas planned. Since every interview conducted with business faculty had been a brand newacquaintance, the author aimed to interview engineering faculty who had never requested alibrary resources guest lecture in their classes. grant is to incentivize faculty to adopt, adapt, and create OER for their courses. Thisprogram has already brought OER into 26 courses and are now saving enrolled studentsapproximately $150 each.The first cycle of CDHE grant included a detailed plan to provide faculty with educational forumsand workshops on various OER topics, including open pedagogy, copyright, and licensing.However, an unfunded Term OER Librarian position made it difficult for the team to provide thissupport to the funded faculty. While the team had the expertise to provide this training, theylacked the capacity to realize this aspect of the grant as intended. first sub-team focuses on the frontend design and user experience, and theother focuses on the backend development. Students are welcome to work with eithersub-team, and can switch between them if they desire. The students meet with their sub-team each week to discuss progress and assign new work. There is also an active Slackchannel used by the team throughout the week. Students give a presentation in week 5 ofthe semester outlining their goals for the semester, and in the final weeks of the semesterthey give a second presentation to demonstrate their progress and start planning for thenext semester. as a potential area forimprovement, as some students were reluctant to be observed engaging in a headset-basedactivity in a heavily trafficked public area of the library. On the other hand, the pilot testingprovided a sense of confidence about the value of the exhibit: most of the students that engagedin the exhibit pilot reported that they would be moderately or extremely likely to use AR again inan educational setting.As a return to more normal library operations becomes more likely post pandemic, morewidespread and formal testing is planned.
