engineering students were able to consider how the application ofengineering technology can cause violence, they struggled to engage with the politics of whatengineering work is valued and who engineering designs serve or harm. This paper seeks to add to this scholarship by producing an analysis of how studentsconstruct various stakeholders in a sociotechnical scenario, with particular attention to how theseconstructions inform students' understanding of harm from engineering in the context of thepresented scenario.
