These sessions were heavily advertised inthe women’s residence hall, but men were very welcome to join as well. Women whoparticipated reported an increase in confidence as a result of the program. Average physicsgrades for women who participated in the spring semester of 2005 were 3.1 (out of 4.0) vs. 2.7for women who did not. All of the women who withdrew or received a grade of D or lower didnot attend any review sessions.
