Emailinvitations were sent in late Spring 2014 to all department chairs requesting participation fromthe faculty members who teach courses in the transport phenomena sequence. Similarly, follow-up email invitations were sent in late Summer 2014.A total of 86 unique survey replies were obtained from 72 instructors from 59 differentinstitutions.
