uncertainties and external changes has a negative impacton students’ motivation [10]. To communicate more effectively with the stakeholders, thefollowing guidelines are recommended throughout the duration of the design project: • During each semester, invite stakeholders to (zoom) design meeting for Q&A, one or two times. • Frequent email communication between the scholars and the stakeholders. One or two dedicated scholars will be responsible to send biweekly emails to stakeholders to ask questions and get inputs to make design decisions. The emails are saved in a shared folder. • Provide the shared link of the design documents with stakeholders to keep them informed of the progress of the design

Subsequent labs alsorequired that students design Sallen-Key (Case I) second order sections for Q=2 at two differentresonant frequencies (differing by a factor of 10 in frequency), and measure the resultingfrequency responses, to learn about gain-bandwidth product limitations in analog filter design. In order to make all these measurements correctly it was imperative that all students quicklybecome experts in using both the Digitizing Oscilloscope (Agilent DSO6034A) and the DynamicSignal Analyzer (HP/Agilent 35670A).
